Korczak and music: the workshops for teachers and students kick off!

The Korczak Institute for New Music is happy to announce that, until 5 November, it is possible to register for “Korczak and Music”, project conceived around the “Storytelling through Music” Festival, now at its third edition.
The initiative includes four training sessions for students of the Conservatory and primary school teachers during which the role of the pedagogue Janusz Korczak will be introduced and the opera for children “Il Sogno di Korczak” (“Korczak’s Dream”), written and composed by Paolo Notargiacomo, will be presented. The mini opera, already presented on 26 May 2023, will be replicated on 31 January 2024 by the students of the Conservatory and the “D. Alighieri” Comprehensive School.
The workshops will be held at the Conservatory and will follow the schedule below: 8 and 10 November, 12 January, 9 February, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, room 115.
Teachers for the course will be Morena D’Este, Stefania Lucchetti, Sabina Italiano and Marina Zulian.
A participation certificate will be issued to those participants who request it. Participation is free and for a limited number of participants.
